Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie

This is a modified version of my Mother's famous pecan pie. Enjoy and let me know how you like it!

Makes about two pies.


• 1/3 Cup Bourbon or Whiskey
• 1 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1-1/4 cups light corn syrup
• 1-1/4 cups brown sugar
• 1 t. vanilla
• 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
• 1 10-inch unbaked pie shell


Preheat oven to 350 F.

Mix pecans, bourbon, eggs, chocolate chips, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in medium bowl. Blend thoroughly.

Add melted butter and blend well.

Pour filling into a 10-inch unbaked pie shell.

Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.
